IN THE HOOP EXPERIMENT
We truly do not care what machine you are using!
We just care that you do computerised hoop embroidery.
With so many variables effecting an embroidery
(fabric, backing, needles, design, hoop and, of course, your machine)
getting the right formula to get perfect results can be difficult.
The Experiment is a controlled course environment
to help you get the best from your hoop embroidery. There is no
digitising – but there is lots of information, help, advice and
encouragement for you to experiment, under our guidance, to improve and
perfect your stitchcraft with your in-the-hoop work.
The Course enrol fee covers the learning
processes. The provisions are provided to you free of charge.
We supply the things you need – specialist threads,
needles, backings and fabrics [worth over $300] – so that we KNOW
what results you should be achieving. We will tell you to do
things wrong! We will tell you to do things right! We will
let you decide on what you want to do! Everything will be
recorded by you so that you understand all the principles of the
interaction of the ‘ingredients’ of your embroidery.
You will do hands-on work, you will go live-time
on line for interactive exercises. You will do masses of research
for in this way your knowledge will not just be learned ‘parrot
fashion’. We believe information for information’s
sake is simply words – but information together with experience
is knowledge.

and we are there to hold your hand every step of the way.
