The support provided by the College for learners whilst they are studying is wide and varied from learner advice, to digitising help on projects outside the scope of the course to product support. With more and more students completing their course they have been asking if they can stay in touch with us and continue to get this support.

I am delighted to announce that this has led to our 'LEARNER FOR LIFE' programme being launched.

ALSO – we have decided to launch our 'STUDENT SUPPLY CENTRE' to provide even better support for learners doing our varied embroidery courses.

Within the courses we discuss and teach you about a wide selection of items from stabilizers, to commercial threads to fabric kits and more. We have found though, that many learners from industry and also hobbyists have been struggling to get access to these items and so have been unable to try many of them out.

Now you can get them here direct from us!

I must, however, make this statement clear that this is a support service for students only – if you have a good local stockist I urge you to use them. By visiting our website you can get a great range of products direct from us at education prices: use your learner ID number on the website so that you can trial the products you are keen to use.

Learner for Life

As an enrolled learner of the college you are entitled to join the ACCETT 'Learner For Life' initiative

You will receive...

1. A student ID card. This will get you discounts at stores like Harvey Norman, Clive Anthony’s and Apple. You can also use it at cinemas, theatres, sporting venues and more.

2. A 1800 (freecall) support line direct to the College for any embroidery matter whether it is to do with a course you are on or not.

3. Your own 'edu.au' email address. Yourname@embroiderycollege.edu.au. This gives you better and more effecient communication, AND it also attracts some great offers - for instance Microsoft are currently offering 'Office 2010 professional' (academic edition) for $99 to holders of a valid edu.au email address. That’s a saving of over $600!!!

4. A 25% education discount at the ACCETT new 'Student Supply Centre'.

These 4 terrific benefits are automatic and FREE for all currently enrolled students doing the Certificate III course or a Traineeship at the College – but they are available for everyone who is, or has been, enrolled on any course we have ever run at the small annual fee of just $99 per year.

Click the link at the top of this page to go to the Student Supply Centre, choose “learner for life” from the products. Pay the $99 by PayPal or Credit Card. Get your receipt number and then email it along with a digital image of your head and shoulders (passport style) to admin@embroiderycollege.edu.au.
